If you ask a technician you will get a technical answer: the users of
this NG, or at least the responders, are (it seems to me) primarily
technical experts who will (naturally, and correctly) answer questions
in the light of their technical expertise and experience without
necessarily looking at the broader question.
I lurk here because I am a security professional (and, I cheerfully
admit, so that I can understand what the technical experts are saying
to me) - and I am very much a generalist.
Therein, perhaps, lies the difference :-)
