McAfee Firewall 3.0, also Netscape 7.0

Hi all,

Two questions:
1) I have McAfee Firewall 3.0 installed on my system. Up until
yesterday, it worked great, no problems. However, for reasons I won't
get into, I needed to uninstall and then reinstall it. Once I did that,
all of a sudden any program that needs to access the internet can't get
through; it is blocked, even though I have set up these programs to have
full, unfiltered access (this worked before yesterday). Not only that,
but it doesn't pop up a window notifying me that a program is trying to
do something it shouldn't; it just suppresses it entirely (I get
timeouts or hostname not found type errors). Anyone know how I can fix
this?

2) This isn't the scope of this ng, but if you know anything about it,
please help me:
Netscape 7.0, which I recently upgraded to (about a month or so ago),
shuts itself down when I click on certain websites, or try to run
java-type applications such as instant messaging. (For an example of a
site I can't open, try http://www.pickeringpentecostal.com, my former
_church_'s website). It doesn't pop up any windows or anything; just
any Netscape window I have closes. I even tried with IE 5.5, and the
_same_ thing happens! So I don't know if the problem is with Netscape
or with something on my PC...anyone know why this could be happening??
