Okay ... "Wolfgang is always right, Wolfgang is always right." :o)

My downloads are quite fast and not a problem for me.
So, I think the DSL connection is okay. But, I think that
you're right about the POP servers being the problem.
Recently, SBC/PacBell has been making changes due to
the SBC/Yahoo deal, which is about when
all the timeout problems started.
