Hi, I'am ignorant on firewalls, but need some help/pointers on chasing down a problem.

We have Sun Servers running applications and talking through the cisco pix firewall, and from time to time the session breaks. I can from the solaris side set the keepalive interval shorter and keep the connection but what can I do about the "SESSION timeout"? :( I was told that connections should not be kept alive longer than this... though hard to beleive if this is true.

Any pointers would be welcome, I'am a newbie to the cisco world.

Thanks Suresh
