Hi

You will find most people recommend Zone Alarm (Free) or Zone Alarm Pro. I
personally user Norton Internet Security which includes Norton Anti Virus
some add blocking and parental controls which I think makes it reasonable
value. I also have a soft spot for Norton.

Pro's: It works. The anti virus software is one of the best.
Con's: Difficult to configure. Very poor support. I have also seen it
criticised for it's autoconfiguration, which if you leave it on
automatically decides if a program can access the internet, the program may
not be waht it says it is. www.grc.com has a big downer on it.

Look for reviews like www.vnunet.com type personal firewalls in the search.
www.grc.com mentioned above is also good.
