That didn't work. I ran Norton Windoctor, and had it automatically repair
the defective Active X and Registry entries pertinent to Zone Alarm.

I then rebooted; No more vsdata95.vxd prompt, however I had NO internet
connectivitity. I could use Winipcfg to release and renew my IP number, but
none of my software could get any internet access. It was like the ZA
Internet Lock was permanently on.

I then used Norton Windoctor to UNDO the repairs. The program indicated
the undo operation was successful, but STILL no internet connectivity.

I reinstalled Zone Alarm, and now my internet connectivity is restored.
Question is; HOW do you get rid of this bug-prone mess? I'd only heard
good things about ZA, but this is the second time I've tried it and ended up
with a disaster.

I could NEVER recommend this firewall. Sorry, ZA.
