well linux _is_ user friendly, period.
well linux has very much support for hardware, the hardware which is
poorly or unsupported is that because of lack of available documentation
and that the company themselfs doesn't write drivers for linux (which
makes it pretty much impossible)
well, we can't do much about the games you know even though quake III
arena among a few others are available, there are quite a large amount of
people who have requested to port games to linux free of charge, but have
been rejected by the game companies.
well hey, the installation for a program is very straight forward.
install it from source is very very easy, if you are talking about binary
installations well then it couldn't get much easier, it's actually easier
to install and customize installations in linux than it is in windows
where you have no idea that the installation process puts 200 dll files
in your system dir without asking for your permission.
