Da Guul,
Ok, broadly speaking, you have no issues with your Web Server, the fact that
you can browse from the Green, gives me confidence that your Orange is setup
correctly including gateway settings.
You mentioned that you can browse the web as normal from Green as well.
This now leaves the Router and firewall setup.
On the firewall, (just running through it for completeness), you should have
port-forwarding set to go to the web server and you should also have the
port open on the firewall, through the setting in External services.
The router should have port 80 forwarded to the Firewall which you said that
it is.
A couple of questions, you said that your ISP allows servers to be attached,
but is it possible that they are blocking port 80 (incoming)?
Most of your fault finding should now centre around the router and firewall.
With the Alcatel router, there is a setting that passes all ports to the
firewall, letting the firewall be the actual screening hardware. It might be
worth trying this, we can always tighten it up after you have got the basics
working. This allows the router to work closer to the modem style of working
with no real blocking. You may want to read your manuals. I can have a look
in the Zyxel manuals as well, but probably not until this weekend.
Just another idea, do you want to privately email me your IP address or URL,
just for a sticky from this side (thats if you have the system online).
Regards
Bob
