well if you check the computer security over the last 50 years you will see
that it has improved beyond what one might have expected. :)
it's been quite a drastic improvement of computer security even if you only
look at the past ten years.
and if you would compare automobiles with computers then computers are much
safer since you can't reach under a hood of an automobil and install a
almost perfect crash preventer (as you can when you install a firewall at
least under "UNIX-like" operation systems, DROPing everything) :)
