We discarded the Watchguard from our list of candidates for firewalls,
though I can't remember exactly why. The things I like about the Netscreen
are that they seem to have affordable low-end firewalls like the 5XP that
have the same Gui, features, traffic shaping, etc as their expensive models,
and I think you don't pay per user/IP address. If you plan to buy
additional low-end firewalls for SOHO or home users, this might be a good
thing. Also you can try out their GUI on their web site to see the
available filtering rules, reporting, etc. It seemed to me that there were
some recurring subscription costs with the Watchguard.
