Hello, all. I just found this NG. I don't know why I haven't looked
harder before for a firewall ng. I've been hanging around on GRC's
security and security hardware NGs, and see a lot of the same people
here. Anyway, glad I found you all and I'm learning stuff already.
I made a pest out of myself there, voicing my displeasure at the new
ZAP 3.x. I know... many like it, maybe even the majority of people
who've tried it. I don't know. I couldn't get it to install and kept
going back to V2.6.322 if memory serves. Anyway, I wanted a leaner,
meaner, less bloated firewall and kinda discovered Kerio at the same
time I ran into this ng today. To cut to the chase, I downloaded 2.1.4
of Kerio and installed it. No problem with the installation, seems to
block outgoing and incoming baddies, and less resources. So far, so
good. :) Now I'll go to a "test" site and run it through its paces.
Best,
-- Nat
