Hi,
Im trying to access a FTP-site using a FTP-client (Tried WSFTP and
Bulletproof) from behind a firewall at my workplace, but it isn't working to
well..
I'm able to access the site using IE and the following syntax
"iexplore ftp://username:password@sitename"
But when entering this info in a FTP-client the connection times out.
I've tried to change the sitename to an ip-address in case it was something
fishy with the name-resolution, but it didn't do no good.
I suppose there's some info to be filled out in the Firewall-settings on the
FTP-client.
The proxy-settings in IE looks like this: (If it can be of any help ?)
HTTP: www-proxy.company.com Port: 80
Secure: s-proxy.company.se Port: 80
FTP: www-proxy.company.com Port: 80
Gopher: www-proxy.company.com Port: 80
Socks: www-proxy.company.com Port: 80
Any suggestions on how to solve this issue ?
