Hello all,
I am currently trying to connect a Raptor Mobile VPN client to
a PIX 515 FW. Not having much luck -
PIX Config
isakmp/ike parameters:
Shared Key
DES
MD5
I have successfully created my crypto maps/crypto access-list and
other configuration. I have tested this with the Cisco VPN client v.
3.51 (that works fine).
Raptor Mobile - I have it set via the same above parameters, which is
the template STRONG vpn policy.
My Raptor Mobile Phase 1 ID is the vpngroup that I created (vpntest)
and my shared key matches perfect; using: 12345678900987654321 (for
testing purposes).
I did turn debug on for ISAKMP and IKE, however I do not have that
with me right now - I want to say the error I was getting had to do
with a parameter called IP4.
Either way, the tunnel is not being created. I wanted to see if
anyone here has successfully done this and if so if you could share
what I may be doing wrong.
Remember - VPN configuration on the PIX works if I use the Cisco VPN
client. The Raptor Mobile Client, per Axent/Symantec is fully IPSec
compliant and in theory should work.
I am very new to PIX (been working with it only about 4 days now), for
the past few years I have been a Raptor guy. They are obviously two
totally different beasts, so forgive me if I left any pertinant
information out.
