That's not good. Lots of software will block pop-ups. Many of the newer
version browsers (eg Opera6, Mozilla, both freeware) will. Some firewalls
will (Outpost, also freeware). Why load another program when one you are
using will do the job? If no one gives you the program you want, try
searching Google news to see what's been mentioned before (try
alt.comp.freeware for ideas). Since you're asking in
comp.security.firewalls, do you use a firewall? If no, get Outpost (at
agnitum.com): also has ad blocking, content blocking, and a lot of security
settings for email and web sites.
