I checked the setup, I use firewall's in this configuration regularly, I
don't see a problem with the way I set it up. If there is a different way,
then it is not intuitive - same result, the software goes out the window (no
Pun intended).

To be fair, it may only be surfacing, due to particular configurations of
network, the way the machines are shut down and so on. But again needless to
say the other software I have now installed works flawlessly, which ever way
they shut the system down.
