No such thing as 'Linux 7.2'. They're only at Linux 2.4...

If you're talking about a Linux distro, such as RootHat or Mandork Linux
then IPTables has nothing to do with them either.

As it stands, there are about 189 or more fragmented & unstandard Linux
distro's so guessing what you mean my 7.2 is a shot in the dark. :-/
