Cisco VPN and Netopa r9100??

I am trying to use the VPN Client to connect to my remote office. I have a
Netopia r9100 router for DSL service. The only way I can get connected is
use NETBIOS filter and not the firewall option? I can connect to the IP,
but authentication fails. Any ideas?
