Nevertheless I answered your question. Forget about ZA on the firewall
box. We are takling about about a network firewall (probably doing
packet-filtering, maybe proxy too) and no matter whether the OS of that
machine is Linux, windoze or whatever, ZA is not a piece of software
you'd run on such a machine.

Why not? It's stable, it's free, it comes with a built-in packet-filter
(the same applies to other free Uni*es of course)

Seems so, I feel sorry for you, that you are not wanting the advice to
use free software and thus save money.

Well, if you like you can use windows stuff like winroute for
routing/packetfiltering purposes. For the Anti-virus checking you might
try to use the ISA proxy togther with Trend Micro or something similar.
Might work but be prepared to pay quite some money for such a solution.
If you are willing to pay for software and an unstable OS, feel free to
do so, I won't force you to save money if you feel the strong need to
support microsoft.
