Software firewalls when misconfigured are worse then even having one
installed. I ran my system with no firewall and only one anti-virus
program, netscape and eudora is all with no problem. Then of course,
you have to secure your browsers and email program to make this work.
Believe me, if I can run barebones with 10,000+ malicious hackers trying
to kill my system, I'm darn proud of my accomplishment. I plan to show
the world how it was done and if I can do it with no firewall, then
anyone can. My future book makes me darn proud of what the hackers
helped me to learn.
In fact, I've been in my glory all day because two more illegal hosts
and servers were shut down so the hackers can't use, of course I have a
copy of the drives. No, the hosts were not even in my state. A few
more illegal hosts and servers will be shut down shortly and I have the
malicious hackers to blame for " my glory."
