Thanks for the reply.
I do have my computers (only 3 of them) set up with static ip addresses and
everything works fine. My question was more on the theoretic level. This is
the only reason I have static ip addresses. In the bigger scheme of things,
why is this even necessary since all of the information is stored in the
router to handle it?
