Be careful with adsubtract. I think you have to be prepared for a bit of
grief to make it work.
When I installed the program almost all of my sites, including my home page
(no adverts) were unobtainable. The only exception was my banking site. I
played around with the options for a while but decided the time involved did
not justify the program. After uninstalling the program I still couldn't
access any of the sites. A few hours of troubleshooting showed that most of
the options in my browser had been changed and I was now trying to access
the internet through a proxy server???. After going back to square one I
reconfigured the browser and now all is well (I hope).
A few years ago I would have spent hours troubleshooting the program.
Nowadays I uninstall programs that don't work and try something that does.
