The main thing is to set ZAP to not load automatically, reboot, and then run
the uninstall with ZAP NOT loaded. That avoids most of the problems. In
addition you can use Incontrol (freeware from www.zdnet.com ) when you
install ZAP. It creates a report of every file and registry key created
during the installation. This is a good idea when installing any of the
personal firewalls given that they often prevent each other from installing
or working if traces get left.
