Hi Silent,
Just FYI, if and when you go to ZA/ZAP 3.0, logging is built into it,
rather than a separate service. This is good in many ways - however, some
users have huge log files, and if it loads a huge one it seems like it may
take up a lot of memory (at least reported by 3 users so far, I have not see
this as I keep my personal copies archiving).
If you see that, try archiving the log file weekly or so. Or limit the
size. I prefer weekly or daily, as it then gets renamed with the date
included. :-)
For the current issue with ATTBI - try going to Alerts, Advanced, be sure
to UNsuppress all alerts. Then watch for anything going on. That may help -
it's possible it is a different server. Especially with all the changes in
cable modem systems recently.

Unfortunately, even with extensive research in the online help for ZA,
I'm still only partially back to where I was before ATTBI did whatever
they did a couple months ago.
After adding the mail and news servers to the "trusted" list, I can
receive and send e-mail on all three of my active addresses in Netscape
4.77 and Outlook Express 5.5. IE 5.5 was never having a problem other
than a speed hit when security was set to "High." But Netscape 4.77 and
6.2.1 still can't browse when security is on "High" -- even with both
name servers, DHCP, and my gateway on the "trusted" list. For that
matter, SETI@Home doesn't seem to find the server in that situation,
either, but I haven't spent much effort yet on getting that IP address,
since that could just be the bandwidth problems they've been having.
And no, neither Netscape installation is using any kind of proxy.
And I've tried (several weeks ago) calling ATTBI support, only to find
that they don't support firewalls, don't support problems with my
system, won't even talk to me unless I rewire so my computer is the only
on connected to the cable modem (which pisses off my wife if she's
trying to play Asheron's Call -- which is every night), won't support
anything related to e-mail if I'm using a return address not on their
system -- and don't seem to have anyone who "understands the
requirements of network security." They simply blame Zone Alarm for
everything, since my system works normally, including security holes, if
I exit Zone Alarm. I'm almost convinced they're using some variant of
the "broadband heartbeat" to verify my DNS and routing requests, but I
haven't figured out what IP or IP range it's on -- I don't get an alert
I can identify as being theirs when I try to browse from Netscape, and
no one there either a) knows, or b) will tell how they verify my system
when I try to browse.
Sigh.
