esteemed peers
i have an intel pocket digital pc web camera and it works just great with
XP. however when i use it behind a hardware personal firewall (SMC), i can
no longer video conference. it doesnt seem to matter which video
conferencing software i use ==> Intel Video Phone, Microsoft NetMeeting, or
Windows Messenger. none will allow me to connect to the desitination
machine.
is there a range of ports associated with each application that need to be
excluded from firewall protection in order for the video conferencing
applications to function correctly? how can i enable the video packets to
pass thru the firewall?
yours in technical need,
