This product, which you can read about at www.saafnet.com, or by
going to www.tigerdirect.com and searching for the product
AlphaShield, is supposed to implement "gap technology," similar
to Whale Communications, for the SOHO/home environment. Haven't
heard that much about it, though, and am wondering what anyone's
opinion on it is. In particular, if one already has a good h/w
firewall in place on a LAN, is such a product even needed? It's
very inexpensively priced at $150 on Tiger's site.
