Hello !!
This is my current situation:
HOME: Cable internet connection-Netgear MR314 wireless router-
2 pc's connected with 802.11b network adapters. Working great, but I
want more.I like to connect to my business network (I'm working at
the IT department,I'm not trying to hack it...) without a seperate
dial-in.
OFFICE: Right now we only have a businness network with access to the
Internet using a remote located connection through a firewall.
Connecting to for instance our mail server is not possible because the
firewall does not permit this. So it's a sort of a one-way system....
What's the best thing to do? I was thinking about getting an own DSL
connection and building our own firewall, or even trying VPN.
I have no experience with this kind of sport, I'm quite an IT guy, but
not with this one....
Is there any step-by-step advise available on the internet, or does
anybody have any other hints? (preferably using the same hardware as I
have...)
Thanks thanks thanks !!!!!!
Conrad
