The situation of transfer of HDD may be any like Current installation
failed, Moved from one office to other office having different setup,
HDD taken by any employee out of premises etc....
Re: unable to install XP on new HD ... not be done so the next option was to exit setup and try again which ... system will go past the bios boot but stops before loading XP from CD ... restart and see if>> the installation continues. ... it's apparent the system is attempting to boot to your HDD and not the XP ... RE: lsass.exe - system error / Object Name not found. ... I have restored the HDD back to the point of BACKUP, ... I then found a solution which used the REPAIR INSTALLATION option....
