xp network issue

    Hi,
    I have two xp.One is home version at home1
    another is professional version at the home2 (friend's home) .
    They are diff. subnet and use same service provider.
    I set up same group named MSHOME but
    they can not see each other.
    Both are enable:
    1.client for Microsoft network
    2.file and print sharing for Microsoft network
    3.Tcp/ip

    During create network group:
    select "Other" then "This computer connects directly to the
    internet. I do not have a network yet" for both PCs

    Any ideas?
