I got a question regarding the moving (or prevention) of directories
in Windows 2000. In the business I work for we use windows 2000 for
about 100 pc's. Some people need to ccess specific directories and be
able to view/add/edit files within those directories. the main
problem is that once a week some always (by accident) decides to move
the directory somewhere else, by cut and pasting the wrong way or
something. You all know it happens everyone has done it at some time
    in their computer life-span.

It becomes really frustrating, for me as I have to hunt down where it
has gone adn also for the othe people who use it as the work they are
doing requires the easy access to these files. Now from my
understanding I can make the directories read-only and then it can't
be moved, however they then can't add to the directories or update the
    files.

Is thee anything in active directory I could change in order to
    resolve this..

    With thanks,
    Travis
