In windows NT it is possible to grant/restrict users to access specific folders
and other objects/resources (e.g. programs). Is it possible to GRANT/RESTRICT
PROGRAMS to access specific folders and other objects/resources? Is there a
utility which can arrange that?
e.g.:
1:) A user has access to folder A and B (e.g. through the 'explorer' program).
I want to restrict the program 'Dangerous' to be able to read only in folder B,
even if the user has access to folder A and B through other software.
2:) A user has access to folder A and not to folder B. I want to grant the
program 'DBMS' to access folder B at any time or at least for that user. So the
user can not access folder B through e.g. the 'explorer' program or 'MS-word'
etc, but he can through program 'DBMS'.
