Our network has profiles and policies set up to deny base accounts the
ability to access their start bar and it's properties. However, some
of our applications have text that is currently not viewable because
the start bar is covering the application. I am looking for a way to
auto-hide the task bar without deleting the profile or changing the
policy. I could not find a setting in the registry to change the
value and modifying every machine manually is not a viable option.
Does anyone know of a way to change the task bar auto-hide in the
registry or in a way that will not effect the profile or security
policy?
