    You made my point beautifully. The guys making the money are doing so on MS
    platforms. There is no way to make revenue on software in Linux, aside from
    service related revenue, or some custom software, which is essentially
    service as well. Either way it only pays while you are doing the work, and
    not after. Its not sustainable. You can do plenty of contracting, plenty
    of support, but you can't sell your IP. That is just broken, and it doesn't
    do the industry any favors. It kills innovation and it kills off the small
    players as well. But I don't expect you to understand this argument. I
    mean after all someone as smart as yourself probably can't come down to the
    level of a dummy like me :)
