I solved the problem myself (while probably not the best way)...
On my LAN my IP is 10.1.3.2... I am the "first" in the IP scheme....
I went into my SonicWall firewall admin, and set 3 new rules...
I Denied LAN IP addresses 10.1.3.3 through 10.1.4.32 (the "last" IP
address on my network) from accessing WAN addresses 205.188.10.1
through 205.188.10.255
I did the same for 205.188.10.1 - 205.188.10.254 and 64.12.28.1 -
64.12.28.255
these are all owned by AOL, and while the AIM program may not use all
of the address in between, I can assure you that now I (10.1.3.2) can
get on AIM and NO ONE, i mena NO ONE on my network can at all...
hope this helps you all!
