Aileen Frisch, in her book "Essential Windows NT System Administration",
refers to a program named Security Manager or secmgr, by Martin Weindel.
It provides a GUI for browsing and changing ACLs.

Apparently the Security Manager is defunct. Frisch refers to
http://www.bhs.com, but it's no longer there. The only link I can find
to Security Manager is
http://windows.about.com/cs/securityproducts/index_4.htm, which leads to
http://www.wispro.de, which is defunct.

There's a product named Security Explorer, from Small Wonders software,
that looks like a later version of Security Manager. But it costs more
than $300. Security Manager was supposed to be freeware.

Does anyone know where to find the Security Manager?

Thanks,
A.
