Hello everyone! I'm setting up a server which will be Windows2000 domain
Server with Exchange Server 2000, SQL Server 2000, IIS and a FTP server but
won't be using DHCP. I have Windows95, Windows98, WindowsXP Pro and
Windows2000 Pro that will be part of this domain which they'll all be
connected through a router. I was thinking about putting my Windows2000
Server in a closet and have no keyboard or monitor but I was wondering if
you can do full administration work from any of these workstations(I think
you can from Windows2k Pro but not sure). If you can do administration work
from a workstation, what software do you need and what limits do you have,
like what exactly can and can't you do or maybe give me a reference to a
place that would tell me? Can you like add accounts to Exchange, work on
SQL Server2000, look at the 2k services.etc..I've never had a server up
before so I don't know to much about it so I'm hoping someone can help.
Thank you for your time everyone
