I wonder if sbcglobal.discard (as opposed to .disgard) was meant?
General cluelessness in the tech support of Usenet is probably one reason SBC/ATT is dropping Usenet. On the (genuinely exclusive) SBC groups, there's been limited conjecture that the typo in the one group name means the message is a hoax. Meanwhile Bleachbot is blasting it from existence wherever it can, since it's been posted to *every* group the old Prodigy servers carry, not just sbcglobal.*. It's probably legit, though.
