I posted the url because I am not able to improve on the writing of the
editors who posted the story on slashdot. Also, the above url also
displays *comments* which are sometimes very interesting - for instance,
the one that says "it's not a bug, it's a feature!". The CEO of Diebold
is apparently one of those who believes "winning isn't the most important
thing, it's the *only* thing". I intend to give anything carrying the
Diebold name a wide berth.
I understand the objection to providing urls (risks of porn sites, malware
etc) but the url pointing to slashdot.org should calm everyone. Everyone
has heard of "slashdot", haven't they? If not, slashdot.org is the "news
for nerds, stuff that matters" site. It's an excellent site for current
news on a range of technology areas.
