I'm running a bittorrent client/server (Azureus 2.3.0.4, a
java program) under Xandros (i.e. Debian). At any one time
I may have more than a dozen active connections involved in
bittorrent file exchange. Are there any particular security
hazards associated with this that I should be aware of, and
how can I safeguard my machine from them? My host machine
is protected with a firewall (Firestarter), and it sits
behind a NAT router.
