_: Exactly from which piece of data do you get this info? How could I
investigate/debug(?) this in detail? Could you point me to info on this (I
mean search engines don't work anylonger there is so much junk and misinfo
out there!!!)

> BTW why are you running IPV6?
_: Knoppix apparently does. I am using version 3.9 based on the Linux
Kernel 2.6.11

root@2[knoppix]# uname -a
Linux Knoppix 2.6.11 #2 SMP Thu May 26 20:53:11 CEST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux

DSL link if you are getting carrier dropouts.
_: The device I am connecting to directly is my DSL modem. How can you
check the DSL link? Isn't in part of your ISP?

> I would see if those carrier errors correspond to the times you lose your
connectivity.
_: This is something I will have to check to but do you do this as you are
online or is there any utility that periodically checks this>?

 Thanks
