Hi Guys,
My httpd server has stopped working on my FC4 machine. In the error log is
the following:
[Sun Aug 14 04:02:15 2005] [notice] Digest: generating secret for digest
authentication ...
[Sun Aug 14 04:02:15 2005] [notice] Digest: done
[Sun Aug 14 04:02:15 2005] [notice] LDAP: Built with OpenLDAP LDAP SDK
[Sun Aug 14 04:02:15 2005] [notice] LDAP: SSL support unavailable
[Sun Aug 14 04:02:16 2005] [notice] mod_python: Creating 4 session mutexes
based on 150 max processes and 0 max threads.
[Sun Aug 14 13:05:23 2005] [notice] core dump file size limit raised to
4294967295 bytes
[Sun Aug 14 13:05:24 2005] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper:
/usr/sbin/suexec)
[Sun Aug 14 13:05:40 2005] [notice] core dump file size limit raised to
4294967295 bytes
[Sun Aug 14 13:05:41 2005] [notice] suEXEC mechanism enabled (wrapper:
/usr/sbin/suexec)
The core dump and suEXEC lines are repeated many times.
I cannot start httpd, I cannot even remove it to reinstall. Checking "rpm -q
httpd" gives "httpd-2.0.53-3.2". If I "rpm -ev httpd-2.0.53-3.2" I get
"httpd-2.0.53-3.2 not installed." If I try "rpm -i
httpd-2.0.53-3.2.i386.rpm" I get "package httpd-2.0.53-3.2" is already
installed.
Any ideas on how to get http going again?
Cheers
Peter.
