Quite correct, though I have not seen a .sh_history file ever created
by executing ksh or csh from within bash unless the HISTFILE
environment variable was explicity set in .tchrc or .cshrc etc, etc, at
least not on my dev linux box - or am I missing something?? quite
possibly!!
