It had a better GUI than Windblows. But then, ANYTHING has a better GUI
than Windblows.

Terrible OS, Awful GUI. So dirty with viruses, adware and spyware that
it's a windfall for IT professionals, providing them with unending job
security. To make another odious car analogy: "the only people who
appreciate a poorly made, unreliable car is a mechanic." No wonder you
IT 'mechanics' love Windblows so much.
