Hi Mike,
Sorry if I vaguely stated my case. By 'hidden', I meant, it cannot be
listed using any listing utilities (eg, ls and find). But the file is
there. It can be accessed (read from and written to) if done by
specifying the file. Eg,
cat ~/file
will dump the contents of 'file'. The command
ls
will not show, but, doing
ls ~/file
will.
Is there a way I can get around this? And, (again), how was this made
possible?
