I run Mandrake Linux v9.2 as a desktop. Only dialup internet and a simple
home network to my wife's WinXP machine. The saslauthd daemon loads in my
system, by default. Is it necessary to have or can I disable it? Am
trying to reduce the system to only what I really need.
