I completely agree. But the code in question is quite small, and
mostly deals with ACL's. It's a rather easy to audit patch.
The other thing is, although the NSA would love to be able to peek
into all of our computers, they *are* charged with making sure that
we're not peeking in on each other. :)
Do I trust the NSA. No way. But I trust myself and the lkml crowd
to sniff out anything untoward that tries to make it in to the Linux
kernel. If attempts like that couldn't be prevented by the regular
code review that the kernel goes through, we're all sunk already
anyway. :)
