Yes it is an internal SCSI Travan tape and as I said it has been
dependable and done a great job since April of 1999.

My SCSI scanner does a nice job also.

That depends on personal choice and possibly what the system will
be used for. You can do backups of other systems on the network
without having to move the tape drive.
