I'm trying to install 'aide-0.9' in YDL 3.0 - oldworld PPC Mac (clone?)

When I run "./command" from my aide extracted tarball folder, I get the
following:

You don't have zlib properly installed.
Install it or try --without-zlib.

Odd thing is, I have zlib 1.1.4-4 installed and Yum & Apt-Get say I have the
newest one available.
So I rerun './configure' using the '--without-zlib' option & got the
following:

loading cache ./config.cache

You must have libmhash properly installed.

I installed mhash 0.8.18 previously from
"http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=4286"; so this should
be available as well.

Anyone have a solution to this issue?
