POP service privilege separation?

Hi,all.

I am not very familiar with POP service (from RH8.0 IMAP2001a), so I can't
separate pop-users privileges from system users.
I have performed the separation on SMTP service already with PAM module,
but that seems not work on POP.
I am useing RH8.0 Linux with sendmail and imap package installed.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
