    Ownz0r? That's a new one to me. These terms just get even dumber sounding.

    If you're using WinXP, activated the Internet Connection Firewall (ICS).
    You'll find it in the properties for your dialup connection in the Start ->
    Settings -> Network and Dail-Up Connections menu.

    If you're not using WinXP, then I suggest getting a good free firewall like
    Kerio or even ZoneAlarm. I'd recommend Kerio, it's a little more complicated
    but has a lot more functionality.

    If you're using Linux or a variant, the easy way is to edit your hosts.deny
    and hosts.allow files so they read this:

    /etc/hosts.allow
    127.0.0.1: ALL

    /etc/hosts.deny
    ALL: ALL

    That will stop anything from accessing your computer while still allowing
    you to access the internet.
