Friends.

I am trying to learn what options there are under Linux (I have Redhat
9) to hide files and folders/drives, or to encrypt files/folders. In
particular, does the Linux OS have those kind of tools included, and if
not, then what freeware programs are there around? Are there any that
work both on Linux and Windows (maybe Mac as well)?

I guess for encrypting emails, then the PGP or GnuPGP are the tools to use?

Thanks for good input
Carl
